Clear Lake International Tri – Officially Registered

Just finished registering for the Clear Lake International Tri.  The tri is on August 22nd and is an Olympic distance (quarter iron) tri consisting of:

1.5K Open water Swim (1,500 meters, or equivalent to 60 laps in a 25 meter pool)
40K Bike (24.85 miles)
10K Run (6.21 miles)

I’m treating this as my primary race for the year, or my “A-Race”, so I won’t be so forgiving if I don’t do as well this time around.  I’ve already adjusted my training to add more cycling and I’m vowing to actually do bricks this time around!

My goal is to finish in under 3 hours.
